Meet the Doctors
Dr. Brad Lane
Brad Lane is a 1997 graduate of Mullens High School in Mullens, West Virginia. He completed his undergraduate work in the Honors Program at Concord College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Pre-professional biology as well as a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in psychology and sociology. He attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he earned his doctorate in 2007. Dr. Lane completed formal training at the VAMC in Clarksburg, WV and Johnson City, TN and at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA. He was also awarded the Eschenbach Low Vision Award and the Alcon Case Study Award.
Dr. Lane is certified in Primary Care Optometry and in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Diseases by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Optometry, the West Virginia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Chris Hansen
Chris Hansen graduated from Athens High School in Athens, West Virginia in 1988. He performed undergraduate studies in the Honors Program at West Virginia University. He continued his professional training at the Indiana University School of Optometry, completing the doctoral program with honors. Dr. Hansen then served as an optometrist in the United States Air Force for four years, earning the Air Force Commendation Medal before leaving the service to return home to the Appalachians.
Dr. Hansen is certified in Primary Care Optometry and in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He is also an active member of the West Virginia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Associations.
Dr. Hansen and his wife Lori reside in Pembroke, Virginia with their three children.
